About Me
I'm a Software Engineer with 8+ years of experience, currently pursuing a Master's in Computer Science at Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Brussels. Over the years, I've worked at companies like Goldman Sachs, Nosto, and Altair (now acquired by Siemens) where I built and led a variety of projects focused on backend development, distributed systems, high-performance computing applications and cloud-native architectures.
I specialise in Java backend development, working extensively with Spring Boot, Microservices, and both relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB), along with Python for data-driven applications. My expertise spans RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and cloud platforms (AWS).
Beyond backend engineering, I'm deeply interested in AI, Data Science, and everything in between. My master's coursework focuses on Computational Intelligence and Data Science, while my thesis explores Drug Repurposing using Knowledge Graphs.
Outside of coding, I enjoy music, chess, and exploring topics like philosophy and linguistics. I'm always eager to learn, experiment with new ideas, and collaborate on interesting projects.
